In the general trend of global industrial upgrading, JST undertakes the mission to fuel social development of mankind via sealing technology. Every year, JST invests 6% of its annual turnover in research and experiments to bring forth innovation, upgrading sealing products to higher technical standards with stronger heat-resistance, stability, and durability in extreme conditions.
With a dedicated team of talented technical professionals, and joint R&D centers with Guangdong University of Technology and others, JST develops high-end sealing technology for customers, upgrades customers’ industries and products and solves technical difficulties the whole industry is facing, propelling rapid industrial development.
JST has a complete technical system, including material formulation laboratory, comprehensive performance laboratory for high & low temperature and high pressure products, -196℃ cryogenic temperature laboratory, equipped with high and low temperature tensile testing machine, material abrasion testing machine, material immersion testing machine, low temperature retraction testing machine , DSC vulcanization tester, carbon black dispersion analyzer, creep tester, finite element analysis (FEA), and in combination with the company's PLM system, it can make deeper researches on elastomer materials, polymer composites and product performance.
JST's materials receive rigorous internal and thirty-party tests and have obtained NORSOK M-710 immersion test certificates by Element laboratory in UK, Alpine laboratory in US, and laboratory of China University of Petroleum, as well as RGD test certificate by BV and API 6A PR2 test certificate by DNV for sealing of various devices. To support the replacement and upgrade of seals in semiconductor industry and medical equipment industry, JST has devoted to R&D on semiconductor FFKM compounds, and set up a class 10,000 clean room.

JST gets 52 patents in sealing technology on compounds and sealing designs. There’re 5 Chinese inventions and 1 US invention, and we keep applying for 5 to 8 new patents each year.
